EU Twinning Project supporting GNCC: Communications for growth

Twinning is an EU funded programme for institutional cooperation.Within the programme, EU public sector institutions or institutions with public sector involvement work together to achieve the adoption or implementation of some part of the EU acquis communautaire and particular objectives of the Association Agreement within the beneficiary country. In framework of Twinning project two informative workshops with the participation of EU experts were held at the premises of the GNCC. The workshop on broadband development is a part of Twinning project aiming at developing regulatory framework and operational capacities of the Georgian National Communications Commission (GNCC). On September 17th 2020, after 6 months delay due to COVID-19 lock down measures, the formal kickoff meeting for the EU twinning project ‘Strengthening Blood Safety System in Georgia’ took place in Tbilisi (Georgia).
